About Bushomon

Bushomon opened in July 1993 in Shianbashi Yokocho, the liveliest nightlife district in Nagasaki. It is the oldest charcoal-grilled yakitori restaurant in the alley, and is now run by the third generation of the same family.

Every morning we thread fresh ingredients onto skewers by hand, then grill them over charcoal. Our secret tare sauce has not changed since the founder’s day.

Our No.1 recommendation is the beef tendon skewer (gyu-suji), a rare dish even in Kyushu, made the same way since we opened.
